Description

It is highly recommended to attend the Basic Rifle Optics and Sight-in class before attending this course. The Rifle Marksmanship I, Fundamentals  course will teach you the techniques needed for long range shooting and is a prerequisite for the Rifle Marksmanship II Course. The first portion of the day is spent in classroom training with time on the range to verify zero and put some of the day’s lessons into practice. This class is introducing you to the skills needed to achieve a good zero and feel more comfortable shooting at longer ranges. You must provide your own rifle, ammo and equipment as there are none available for loan or rent. This class is limited to five (5) people.

Rules and equipment required;

  • All firearms must be cased for transport to and from the classroom or range.
  • No ammunition or magazines in the classroom.
  • Empty Chamber Indicators must be used whenever you are not actively firing, one will be supplied as part of the class.
  • Listen to and abide by all range commands.
